I got a contract with an international company in Australia, which will only become valid once the paperwork is completed. The company wants to take care of it and apply for a 457 visa for me.
However I would have to resign from my current job in Germany now because of long term notice regulations.
I wonder how big is the risk, that the australian company will not be able to get the visa for me? any ideas how long does the application process takes?
