I went to Australia in 2003 on a Working Holiday Visa. I spent 3mths working in Katherine, NT on a cattle station. Since my return the rules have changed so that I may apply for a second WHV as I spent 3mths working in a rural location.
Since 2003 the cattle station has been sold off and the staff/managers all changed. I therefore have no way to prove I worked there that I am aware of.
If I could find my tax code this would prove where my earnings came from for 3mths. Could someone please advise me where I contact to find out my tax code?
Also would this be sufficient evidence for a second working holiday visa?
The Tax office say you can ring them to enquire about a lost TFN between 8.00am and 6.00pm from Monday to Friday, on 13 28 61. They do not quote an overseas contact no. so I don't know if this no. will work from overseas.
If I find our any more I will post. In the meantime good luck
