I haven't checked whether they have recieved them but the medicals, x-rays and police checks all came back to me and i passed them on. I didn't want to phone them as i didn't think they liked you hassling them. The last letter they sent me was in march so i must be due for another one soon!.

I applied under independent skilled migration and my application was logded in December 2002. Since taking the meds and police checks i was offered state sponsorship which i accepted. Throughout my whole application i have only ever recieved one letter from DIMIA ( requesting meds etc ) but i have recieved lots of correspondence from my sponsors. I have never recieved confirmation of receipt of documents but it says in the application notes that DIMIA won't do this and not to contact them????????????

We're off to Adelaide probably end of October and find a job as an electrician. Looking at various forums the average time after submission of meds etc seems to be about 6 - 8 weeks. Now the hard work really starts. House is up for sale, got to sort out getting dogs and furniture over, sort out pension etc. Where are you going and what's your job?
