I need to ask a tax related question.

I'm currently accepting a sponsored job (457 visa) in Queensland. If all goes well with the visa (meds etc) and get accepted, will i still have to pay taxes to the Inland Revenue even tough i will be paying taxes in Australia. I intend to work for 2 years where myself and the family will make a decision on whether to make the move permenant or not.

Any help will be appreciated.

You will only have to pay tax to the Inland Revenue if you maintain any form of income in the UK after you leave eg rental income if you let your house out while you are over here.

It will depend on your tax status in the UK, and the nature of your income sources.

I recommend a read of booklet IR20, available via www.hmrc.gov.uk

Best regards.
