Dear all, Myself and my partner will be moving over to Sydney towards the end of this year and one area that has caught our eye are areas around the Padstow, Revesby & Riverwood. I seem to recall Colin who posts on this website has a good knowledge of this area so I'd be really grateful for any feedback and insight as to what the areas are like. I will be working in the CBD @ Town Hall and don't mind a bit of a commute each day - I've read a bit that the trains are getting a little less reliable in Sydney but can't believe they are any worse than here in London - any experiences ??!! Housing wise we'll be looking at up to $600 p/w mark, although this is a little flexible given i'll be getting LAFHA.
Lastly, we will be an early 30's couple with no kids - is this the right sort of area for us. We like pubs/restaurants etc.
