Does anyone know when the $AUD100,000 must be paid if we comit to the "capital investment in Australia" to gain the 5 bonus points. Is it when we actually arrive in Australia, when the VISA application is submitted or somewhen else?

we have just been invited to make our capital investment 3 weeks after medicals and police checks arrived in australia deadline of 28 april hopefully visa granted soon after receiving all paperwork

How long did you wait after the medical/police that they asked for this money?

our medicals and police checks sent back in feb
letter dated march 17th asking for the capital investment deadline today but we have asked for extension waiting for funds to clear
yes we are claiming 5pts

Thanks for your info. How is the procedure looks like? Is it when you got the money, you put it in your bank. Wait till they ask you to transfer the money to the government bank in Australia??

you decide which government you are going to lodge the funds with details can be found on go matilda website weve decided on queensland i emailed them and they sent the forms they require telegraphic transfer of funds and forms faxed and then sent to them we will be ready to lodge the investment on 6th may hopefully the visa will not be too far away
yes i am going with my family hubby 41 four boys aged 7,9,11,13 all sports mad and looking forward to the outdoor life not sure where to settle yet have family in noosa but too far from city

By the way Dobbo, try to go to Wellington Point in
Brisbane. It is a wonderful place. Your kids will
love it. Redcliff is also a good place.
Not forgetting Surfer Paradise and Gold Coast.

the stress.
