Dear Alan,

My application for 136 visa was received on April 18th 2007. The automatic response email now shows a date already pass that (for more than 15 days). As read on DIAC website, it’s my right to inquire them about my status, and so I did.

The answer came back exactly five business days later stating that, among other useless information, they are thankful for my patience.

What do you suggest me to do: Wait more 5 business days and ask again or simply pray that a C.O is coming?

Thanks once again,

Henrique

If you are not a client I am afraid there isn't a lot I can do, Henrique.

It seems your application is among the many thousands that are awaiting processing - so yes, you have to be patient.

Best regards.

Alan,

since the automatic response email shows an much earlier date, that means that it actually shows fictional dates?

Once again thank you for your help.

Cheers,

Henrique

and even more...
since I already sent my medicals and PCC, is it right to assume that the contact will only happen with a pre-grant letter?

Thank you very much Alan...

It might be. Depends whether the case officer has any concerns about work experience (for example).

Best regards.

Alan,

here I come once again....

In your opinion: when would it be wise to inquire DIAC once again about my C.O alocation?

Thank you very, very much,

Henrique

Thank you Alan,

I understand and respect your position. That will not be necessary now, but if needed, I will surely ask for your help.

Sincerely,
Henrique
