I am considering a 2 year Master's degree at Flinders in South Australia, which fulfills the 2 year study requirement. Now my current question relates to the extra 5 points for regional. What exactly is meant with living 2 years in a regional area, ie for the 2 year study rule this means 104 weeks course on cricos and thus 4 semesters, but of course this is not a full 24 months. Can I consider moving to a non-regional area after finishing my last exams (after about 21 months in Adelaide? Also, are you allowed to travel overseas during your summer break? Essentially,do you need to spend the summers after the academic years in the regional area to claim the points?
