Our application was lodged in May 2002 and we are still awaiting our medical/Police check requests. Our agent had told us to do the police checks and medicals, medicals being done in July, but we have since heard via the agent that our case officer may have left his job and our papers have gone missing.
Our agent says he has emailed Adelaide, but he is getting no reply, we are getting very stressed out and need to hear something.

Is anyone else in the same position or have the same case officer??? (Tony Cenzato)

I have just read your post with horror,Tony Cenzato was our case officer we sent our medicals off in March and our police checks in April and are as yet to hear anything.
We have not contacted anyone in Adelaide as they suggest not too but out of desperation we decided we would at the end of this month. After reading your post I think I will phone and see if I can find out anything ASAP.

Tony Cenzato has been our case officer since we lodged our application in Feb 02. We only received our medical and police requests in April this year. The only correspondence we received from Adelaide in this time were requests for additional information they needed to process our application. DONT WORRY. No news is good news. I e-mailed them a number of times and never received a personal reply.
We organised and received our medicals very quickly but were held up by the police checks which (although says you will receive them in 40 days) took about a month longer.
My advice to you is apply for the police check NOW, but wait until your asked for the medical as it cost us around £400.
Once Adelaide received both medicals and police checks we were granted our PR Visa,s within a month.

Forgot to say, Tony Cenzato granted our visa,s on 23rd June this year so I know he was definately working there then.
