Hi
My parents are wanting to migrate to Australia to be with me and their grandchildren, they pass the balance of family test and are wanting to apply for the Contributory Parent visa in the next 2 years....I haven't yet been in Australia for 2 years, so they would like to come over hopefully for 12 months if they are fortunate enough to have the 676 tourist visa granted. Would my parents have to go home for 12 months before applying for a different visa? or if they got granted a stay of 6 months, would they have to go home for 6 months?
Any help would be appreciated!
