i have been granted my visa but due to mortage commitments i can not leave the UK untill next August.My visa entry date is may 2006. I am going to Oz im March to get a visa stamp. Do i have to fill out any more forms once this has been done or am i free to come and go as i like

So long as you clear Australian immigration at the airport before the required Initial Entry Date all will be well - no more forms to complete when you make the permanent move subsequently.
In saying this I'm assuming you are also aware of the validity of the visa in the context of it being used to enter Australia (ie usually 5 years from the date of visa grant)? Best regards.
