I am a PR holder living and working in Australia and for job reasons my wife is in China (457 visa holder). I wonder whether it is possible to adopt a child in China and later when my wife applies for PR from China include the adopted child in the application so the child could also get PR. I wonder if there will be any problems with the child application as she won't be adopted involving the corresponding Australian authorities or it could be better to wait for my wife coming to Australia with PR and then do the whole process of adoption from here.
