hi, is it true that there are visa quotas every year? and for this year, the news is that the quota has been reached so case officers haven't been giving visas lately? pls enlighten us. thanks

Hi Alan, I am new to this forum and this is my 1st post. I am paperbased SIR 495 Visa applicant, application lodged on 3rd Aug 2007.I have frontloaded PCC and Meds no CO allocated yet. Sorry, I don't know the answers to your questions.
I would only point out that skilled visa applications from higher risk countries generally take longer to process to a decision than those from countries such as the UK.
