Not sure if u can help, my occupation is safety and quality assistant for a train maintenance company, have been doing my current role for about 13 yrs. I have Nebosh certificate in occupational health and safety and certificate in environmental management amongst other qualifications. Will I stand any chance with the OHS Advisor assessment and what does the skills assessment entail for this kind of role.

Which occupation are you thinking of nominating from either of these lists please?

Once you have identified the occupation you can see the assessing body.

Once you have determined the assessing body I recommend you contact them, as it is improbable you will receive a detailed response to your very specific question on a discussion forum.

Thanks for the reply Alan, I'm looking at the Occupation Health and Safety Adviser (No. 251312) with Vetassess. I wasn't sure if I could ask them direct whether I have what is required.

I would make a phone call.

They may though say that you have to lodge an application before they can give an authoritative answer.

Note that for a 50 point occupation VETASSESS will require a qualification that is assessed as being at least equivalent to an Australian degree.
