I'm a British Citizen married to an Australian Citizen and we are currently living in the UK. My wife now has Permanent Residency here in the UK and is shortly to obtain her British Citizenship. At some time in the not too distant future we may decide to move to Australia, so I as a British Citizen will need to apply for a Spouse Visa for Australia. I will be 40 this year, and am therefore wondering if there is an upper age limit for applying for an Oz Spouse Visa and Temporary and Permanent Residency.

Can anyone advise? Thanks.

In short, there is no age limit for the grant of spouse visas.

Best regards.
