Hello im currently on a 6 month tourist visa which is coming to an end , my partner and i would like to get married, since i have a 8503 on my current visa, can i leave teh country and lodge for an eta. then come back so that i can get married and apply on shore for a partner visa, and if i do so is there anything as in a time frame i should be aware of when applying for a eta or could i in fact fly to nz stay there for 2 days and apply for teh eta? and come back.

what would teh chances of an eta being denied?
