ryan was in australia this past year on a working holiday visa, working in his uk trade as a pipefitter/boilermaker fifo out of perth.made fantastic wages! lola was living and working in bali.
we are now in canada , ryan has a short contract here, we will be finished here within 6 weeks. we are dying to get back to australia, we are not really living anywhere at the moment, once this job is up were free...
we are NOT LOOKING TO MIGRATE to oz at this time. ryan is wanting an employer sponsored 457 for 4 years , and to bring lola as spouse with ability to work. lola is a tattoo artist, so does not have a trade on skills shortage.
finally,
THE QUESTIONS....
if we find an employer who will sponsor him as a boilermaker/pipefitter, will they give us funds to relocate?
how long does the whole process take, eg , would we be able to sort it so its done by the time the contract ryan is currently doing is up?6 weeks?
is it easier to try for him to go alone first ?we really dont want to do this....
and also we are bringing our dogs, can we do this on a 457 employer sponsored?
he still has 3 months left on his working holiday visa,so we could head out and fix it all once were there... but we would prefer to try and get sponsorship now , and possibly get flights to oz paid for!
