This is interesting. My friend is a pastry cook and wants to migrate to Melbourne. She does not have any official experience in the field though, after she got her degree she joined retail as a beauty consultant and has been working in the field ever since. I myself am planning the big move to the same city as a pharmacist and was wondering what her chances of moving would be if she applied as a pastry cook with no experience but was willing to move to another state or territory? I'd like her to move with me, moral support and all that!
Recent skilled work experience is required if you are looking at a general skilled visa application.
Best regards.
