The Federal Government is under pressure to withdraw the special status granted to Adelaide that has helped South Australia turn around its population position.

However, Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews said yesterday he had no plans to revoke the regional skilled visa provisions that have helped Adelaide attract a greater share of migrants.
