South Australia needs more well-qualified people to come and live in the state, and in order to entice more Brits to Adelaide, they have decided to try sledging.
Among the slogans being tried out in the campaign is "Screw working in Liverpool" and "Sod London house prices, choose Adelaide instead".
It is probably not as catchy as the "shrimp on the barbie" line or even as striking as "where the bloody hell are you", but if the SA Government gets its way, it should be just as controversial as the last Australian tourism advertisement.
Welcome to the new, rude, in-your-face advertisements for moving to and living in Adelaide.
