AUSTRALIA'S immigration policy of luring professionals and skilled workers from poorer countries is damaging the countries they leave behind, depriving them of desperately needed doctors, nurses, nation-builders and reformers, two new studies have warned.

If the countries where immigrants come from gave them a little more respect and wages then perhaps the "brain drain" would not exist!!!!! The only way to change this FACT is at the polling stations!! BYE BYE Tony Blair Smile

Ditto that cheddarman. We're planning the big move because we want a real future for our children. I am a teacher and the lack of respect for authority and peers shown not just by the children of today, but the parents, sickens me. I don't want my children to be brought up in an atmosphere where they are shunned and ridiculed because they are intelligent and interested to learn. If the government wants to keep us they're gonna have to change a major part of this countries so called culture!
