Migrants accounted for a record high proportion of Australia's net population increase in the year to March, figures show.
Australia's population reached 21,283,000 in March - an increase of 1.6 per cent, or about 336,800 people, over the previous 12 months, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) said.
