Has anyone had any experience of banking on-line with a UK bank in Oz? I heard that there might be some problems. Thanks, Elain

Thanks both. Am trying to cover off every eventuality - Am moving next week so am pretty excited but keep waking up in the middle of the night with something else that I havent thought of. GoMat has been so, so helpful.

Internet banking can be conducted from anywhere in the world - providing the country has a adequte internet infrastructure.

The ability to access a banks (any banks) nternet banking system should not be impdeded by the fact that you are logging in from another country.

If it does then I would change banks as there banking system isnt very good !

Hi Elan,

We moved over the beginning of November and have been using my Abbey UK account with no probs.
Know what you mean about thinking of things believe me we've all done it.
The one thing I forgot to do is inform the inland revenue that i'll no longer be working in UK as i'm due a Tax Rebate.
So i've downloaded the form to complete and send off.
