Any news on timeline from the dim people as yet, 5 months & 2 weeks and counting. Not bad for a 3 week visa.

I must stress this is not anything to do with Alan as i unfortunately went with another agent.

How long! We are hoping to go on "holiday" next April but have not lodged our visa application yet.
Is this amount of time normal. Should we get our skates on. We have only just finished completing our Skilled independent permanent visa and cannot face completing another one for a while.

When exactly did you lodge your application David? We are now seeing 457-IE visa grants for applications lodged in London in the last week of February, so you shouldn't be far away ...

Best regards.

Alan,
I think i was told this about 6 weeks ago, going to make it difficult to get there this year at this rate, less money for investment in the much needed job market.

This was the now defunct 457 ie pre march 03, not the one your after, although ours in response to Alan was lodged in Feb 27th, & was stated for 3 to 6 weeks, not 5 months 2 weeks & counting.
