Does the visa process check your credit status in uk?
What if you had a loan in uk,can you still migrate?

I stand to be corrected... but I don't think your credit status in the UK is taken into account, save if you've been declared bankrupt. I have a UK loan and will be moving to Australia in June. The only thing that's going to hurt is the additional cost as a result of the exchange rate and transfer charges to move money back to a UK account.

Don't know how your newly born credit rating will affect your chances (or mine for that matter!) but I've just found out that ANZ do unsecured loans from $5k up - rather than the $25k limit most of the other banks stop at. The exchange rate is not being too kind at the moment and transfer charges are a bit of a sting as well so this is definitely an option. And as far as I'm aware, no they don't check your UK credit rating. (Certainly never used to, if this has changed in the past 3 years, my apologies!)

Done a quick check on this one....nope they dont care if you owe money to anyone....But then you have to establish a new credit rating in Aus...I have a CCJ from a while back and very few are purse as the driven snow....and Ive got my visa no probs
