Hi Everyone

Has anybody used a finance company to forward contract the exhange rate.

We have been quoted by one company that to exhange £100,000.00 over to AUS Dollars they wanted a £15,000 deposit.

Any recommendations for a good company?

We're at the same stage as you Brigitte - trying to sort out our finances. We were told by HSBC yesterday that if we held a UK HSBC account and an Australian HSBC account that we'd only have to pay £10 for any foreign exchange transfers between accounts.
