Is anyone aware of a bank that makes ethical investment a high priority? I am looking for a daily account with credit card, internet banking options.

A previous question in Go Matilda (April 2005) did not get any responses. Can anyone shed more light on the matter?

Note, I am aware of the OXFAM-BENDIGO bank offer, are there any others. As yet I am unclear if the OXFAM-BENDIGO offer is a savings only account or if it includes credit cards and internet banking.

At least this time around you've got a response !!

I've not heard any advertising here for Ethical banking here, so you're knowing about the Bendigo offer puts you ahead of me. However details of the Bendigo stuff are here http://www.bendigobank.com.au/public/community/oxfam_australia.asp

As you will see, it for a transaction account, no credit cards etc although Bendigo does all that sort of stuff as seperate products.

I have to say that I am totally sceptical of the notion that there might be such a thing as an Ethical Bank. Those two words contradict one another. Some of them are merely better at window-dressing than others, imho.
