I left UK in 1996 with an outstanding tax debt of a couple of thousand . Does anyone know what happens if I return to UK for a holiday. Do UK Customs get involve, will I be arrested at the re-entry point

I would not imagine that customs would be involved at all. Would be up to the people you owe the money to finding out you were back in the country then the Police could possibly become involved. I suppose it's up to you if you think it's worth the risk?  |
