Hi,

I've just had a job offer in Melbourne with a salary of 62,500$ per annum + 9% into some pension fund thingy.

Doing a straight 2.5:1 conversion, and that's not absolutely fantastic for London standards.

But is it good for Aus' standards? Will my wife and I and young daughter live comfortably on it?

Any help/advice much appreciated!

1) It's okay, slightly above the average wage.
2) What do you expect to be "comfortable"

What sort of profession/occupation are you in? Where do you plan/need to live? What sort of lifestyle? More info please.
