We are moving on a retirement visa in July. We have to transfer a significant amount of capital before we go. What is the safest form of investment that ensures capital security rather than generating income? It must be flexible so that we can withdraw largish amounts when we find the place we wish to purchase. Any other general advice on this issue appreciated?
You might also want to discuss this with a financial planner in Australia - please send me an email if you would like details of the financial people we work with.
Best regards.
