Dear all,
I got an offer to work in the University of Newcastle. The salary is 63,000 AUD so before I come to Australia, I am wondering how much would be left for me after taxes? I am married, and my wife does not plan to work. We do not have any kids yet... Thanks, |

The ATO website www.ato.gov.au has some useful calculators that will work this out for you.
However I have my own and the quick answer is you will have around $49,155 left after tax has been deducted. |
