I am told that my net take home pay after would be around $1200 per week. That seems very low.
I am looking at a pay break down sheet and there is management fee deducted, annual leave deducted, personal leave deducted, super deducted, LAFHA deducted, tax and Medicare deducted and so on.
I pay my own health insurance so I don't know why they are deducting that.
Could someone please explain this to me?
At the end of the year can I take other deductions on my taxes and get money back?
Without knowing the details of your salary structure its impossible to give you a definitive opinion.
One thing I can say is that everyone pays Medicare irrespective of whether they have private medical insurance or not - even citizens !
Dont quite understand why they deduct annual leave and personal leave - what kind of work do you do ? Do you get a salary or are you paid on a daily or hourly rate ?
Feel free to PM me if you want to !
