What is the minimum amount of money required to emmigrate to Australia permanently according to Immigration regulations? How much would it be for a couple under 30 years old without children?

Isn't there something aboout this on the main DIMIA visa application form?

we are a family of 6 and when we applied we had to bring enough money to support ourselves for 2 years after that you can start to claim etc..not that we intend to. So a good start would be how much would you live on in the uk and get a rough idea from that but also check out the DIMIA .Yes there are cheaper things here but give yourself enough.Look on the web for pirces re houses,furnishings cars then you will have some idea of the costs you will need to spend out on.
