Hi

You will probably need a 20ft container(25 cubic meters).
Shiping cost is about £2500 add to that packing costs and packing materials, insurance in transit, storage costs (£125 per month) here in the UK while you organise yourselves in Brissie plus insurance costs for the storage (£50 per month). There may be port fees in Oz.
Call Atlantis on 0121 451 1588 (they sent me a detailed price list)

There are many other removers
PSS 020 8686 7733
BRITANNIA 0208 256 1700
AVALON 0208 451 6336
ALLIED PICKFORD 0208 219 8000
Try internation removers on your serach engine.

Best of luck

Hi

I have heard a lot of bad press about Pickfords. We're going to use John Mason they seem pretty good and have had good things said about them.

Good luck.

Does anyone know approximately how much it would cost to ship a 3 bedroom home (less the American appliances) from the New York area to Sydney? I'm leaving the cars, yard tools, power tools, and some of the furniture as I see it. But, would be having everything packed and moved for me as well as stored for up to 3 weeks while there.
I'm currently negotiating a contract and would like some rough numbers to base this on.
Thanks in advance!
