Hey,

I am currently living in Ireland, just offered a Job in oz.. Looking for some tax advice...

Total Fixed Remuneration 73,500 which is broken down as follows.

Cash - 35,000 PA
Superannuation - 3500 pa
LAFH (International) - 35,000 pa

Also included are benefits of 6,000 pa which is not included in mt TFR. What would my take home pay be after tax be.

They have asked me to come over on the 417 Visa does that effect the LAFHA ?? I have been told that they would change my visa to 457 after some time when I arrive..

Kind Regards,

Sean

Exercise some caution: a 457 visa is capable of being processed relatively quickly - particularly if the Aus employer already has approval to act as a 457 visa business sponsor, so why can't the nomination and visa applications be processed before you pay for a flight to Australia?

Best regards.
