I still have to wait for TRA response but am very positive.
What i am asking you all are for suggestions to help me make my mind up.
My house is worth approx £210,000 & I have paid off the mortgage! What suggestions do any of you have regarding selling the house, remortgaging upto say £80K & renting. What taxes will i incur? would it be worth keeping say £100K in a uk bank account & transfer at a later date if i decide to stay in oz, or should i take it all over & hope my family & decide to stay there for good ( preferable option).

not sure on your particular circumstances with family, job.....chances of staying in oz for good,
but when i go, i'm selling up and leaving only enough to cover expenses.

with me, theres just the timing thing.
my job is quite a precise qualification,
so i've got to decide when to go for it,
if a job opportunity doesnt occur before hand.
