Hi all
i'm now lying in bed at night worrying about not just getting the UK tax done, but also (and more pressingly) the Aus tax return. Does anyone have any personal experience/recommendations for good/smart Aus tax accountants on the north shore in Sydney? I'm (pre children) an UK accountant by training, and have had some 'interesting' UK experiences with UK tax accountants... which I'd prefer not to repeat here! Do let me know your thoughts or advice! with thanks teagg (aka Gillian) |

Without disclosing any of my detail information, you advised me as follow: Subject: RE: personal income tax Date: Mon, 28 May 2007 17:08:59 +0930 Hi Sir Henry I would expect that you would pay $0.95 cents to the dollar. I would advise that we set-up a tax-haven in your name – I can introduce you to a real estate person who can sell you a small island in the Maldives . Hi Teabag, we were in the same boat as such and used a local (to us) tax man however neither my wife nor I were convinced he was competant. After seeking advice from Go Matilda Alan we use Craig Trusler of a company called WHK Business Services Pty Ltd. The web site is www.whkdayneilson.com.au or email info@whkdayneilson.com.au. The firm has offices in Vic and M'bourne. I appreciate they are not in Sydney but with email and phones is was not a problem for us. However the choice is yours and I can only give you the benefit of our experience. Regards.
