Simple question i hope.
What is the time limit for moving funds over from the u.k.We are migrating to oz on the 23rd june but due to the exchange rate would like to leave the main bulk of our money until rates are hopefully a bit more favourable.

No time limit. You can have money wherever you like as long as you pay tax on any income that it generates while you are resident in Oz.

If you register with OzForex then they will email you information daily on the forecasted rates.
Dont get your hopes up though with the Aussies putting interest rates up and UK lowering them then the dollar is likely to remain firm. Having said that it has weakened marginally against the pound in the last two days.
