Scanning through the .pdf document, it would appear that article 25.1 discards the unfavourable treatment of temporary residents in Oz. Have I read this correctly?

Thank you! It was taken in Manly last year and I think I was halfway through a bottle of something just after landing from Tokyo, which might explain the flush...

Well, that must rate as one of the most boring documents I've read.
My understanding of Article 25.1 is that Aussies in the UK will be taxed the same way as Brits in Aus. Is this a change to current practice for temporary residents? Alan |
