We brought our money over with the Commonwealth Bank & they seem to be the best for a quick mortgage - every other bank told us we needed 6 months in work to apply the commonwealth did it when you were in full time employment for 2 weeks with an employer letter stating wage, type of employment (had to be full time) & that the job was permenant.
